In a horrifying incident, a car was hit by a truck after it stopped at the zebra crossing. A video of the incident is now doing rounds on social media. Uploaded on Reddit by an anonymous user, the video captures the dangerous accident. The incident was captured through a CCTV camera. It shows a car stopping at a zebra crossing. Right behind is a truck and a bus. The truck also somehow manages to stop but the bus is unable to stop and it barges into the truck.

This leads to a scary situation where the truck hits the car and it moves past the Zebra crossing. However, the driver of the car somehow takes control of it and then stops the vehicle on the side of the road. “Car driver stopped at a zebra line and this was the result,” read the caption of the viral video. The video has Reddit users in complete shock. “This is why I am afraid to stop when the signal turns yellow. Don’t know which driver will be in a rush and hit the vehicles,” commented one person. Another person wrote, “I’ve heard of multiple instances when stopping at a red light has led to such (and worse) incidents. Especially at night when everyone’s moving at higher speeds because there are fewer cars on the road. Someone told me, unless u see someone crossing or a car coming in at the signal, do not stop.. perhaps slow down just a little to give yourself some time in case someone or a car does come in, but plow on if none.”
One person mentioned, “I once did the same on my bike and almost got run over by a bus. Now I need to check the rear view before stopping at the light. Remember everyone, following the rules kills too.”

Meanwhile, earlier, TikTok star Kara Santorelli, 18, was killed when her vehicle collided head-on with a car. The incident took place in her home state of Florida on March 17. Just a few days back, Kara shared a video on TikTok criticising the people who died in car accidents. She said that these people face accidents while driving due to their reckless behaviour. Talking to The New York Post, Florida Highway Patrol said that Kara Santorelli was driving down Highway 29 in Escambia County, Florida. A Chevrolet sedan came careening the wrong way and smashed into her Nissan SUV. After the collision, one of the cars caught fire and both drivers died in the accident. The other driver is yet to be identified.
