Jawan Box Office Collection Day 4: Shah Rukh Khan’s new film, Jawan, has set the box office on fire. The film, directed by Atlee, not only recorded a massive opening day collection but has registered the highest single day collection on Sunday. As per early estimates, Jawan collected Rs 85 Cr and that too only in India. Headlined by SRK, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.
According to Sacnilk.com, Jawan collected Rs. 72.00 Cr (early estimates) in the Hindi circles. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film pushed the total to Rs. 81 Cr net. Trade expert Manobala V took to X (previously known as Twitter) to reveal Jawan’s gross collection on Sunday alone was Rs. 85 Cr. The Shah Rukh Khan film ended its opening weekend collection at Rs 206.06 cr.
Jawan has beaten Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 to record the second biggest opening weekend of the year in Bollywood. Pathaan continues to hold the top spot. Gadar 2, which released on August 11, recorded an opening weekend of Rs 134.88 crore. Meanwhile, Pathaan, which enjoyed an extended weekend of five days, collected Rs 280.75 Cr. in January this year.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan seemingly teased that Jawan 2 could be in the making. Over the weekend, while interacting with fans about Jawan, SRK dropped a hint. On Saturday, SRK was replying to several fans when one of them mentioned Vijay Sethupathi. The fan, referring to the film’s ‘deal or no deal’ scene, said that SRK should have agreed to a deal with Vijay because the fan likes the Tamil star.
“Sir kaali ke saath ‘deal’ kyu nahi kar rahe.. I am a big vijay sethupathi sir fan ! @iamsrk," the fan wrote. Shah Rukh replied to the fan that he is a fan of Vijay Sethupathi as well and eventually, appeared to tease Jawan 2. “I am a big fan of Vijay sir too… par Kaali ka kaala dhan toh le liya ab dekho doosron ke bhi Swiss banks se lekar aata hoon… Buss visa ka hi wait kar raha hoon. Ha ha!!! (I am a big fan of Vijay sir too… But you took Kaali’s black money and now see others also got money from Swiss banks… Just waiting for the visa. Ha ha!!!)," SRK wrote.
