Chris Evans has married his girlfriend, Alba Baptista in a secret wedding ceremony, multiple international reports claim. The Captain America actor, who turned 42 years old this year, is said to have married the 26-year-old Portuguese actress. The couple shares an age difference of 16 years. The wedding ceremony appears to be attended by Evans’ close friends, including Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr and Thor star Chris Hemsworth. A source confirmed the news of the wedding to Page Six.
The insider claimed that the wedding ceremony took place in Massachusetts, at the couple’s Boston home. The intimate ceremony was attended by only closest family and friends. An insider informed the publication that the guests were asked to sign NDAs and ‘phones were forfeited.’ While Chris and Alba are yet to confirm or clarify reports about their wedding, a couple of photos from Boston have surfaced online hinting at the guest list.
On late Sunday night (IST), a few photos from Boston — Evans’ hometown — surfaced on X (previously known as Twitter) showing Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan Downey; Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky; and Jeremy Renner enjoying a meal in the five-star Newbury Boston hotel on Saturday. The photo sparked rumours of Evans’ possible wedding and soon, the confirmations about their wedding began coming in. Apart from the Avengers cast, it is reported that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were also a part of the wedding ceremony.

Who is Alba Baptista?
Alba Baptista is best know for her role in Warrior Nun. She made her English debut with the Netflix title. Born in Lisbon, the Portugal actress has also starred in films and shows such as A Impostora, Filha da Lei, A Criação, and Jogo Duplo. In 2022, she was seen in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.

Chris Evans began dating Alba Baptista in 2021 and in November 2022, a source told People Magazine that the Knives Out star was ‘serious’ about the relationship. “They are in love and Chris has never been happier.
