Despite the tensions between India and Pakistan in general, Pakistan fast-bowler Shaheen Afridi made a wonderful gesture to his Indian counterpart, Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian pacer had recently been blessed with a baby boy and had to leave the Indian squad to be with his family which led to Bumrah missing India’s second group stage match against Nepal.
The India vs Pakistan match has been washed out but will continue tomorrow which has been assigned as the reserve day. The match will continue from where it stopped and there will be a full fifty-over match provided that there are no further interruptions due to rain.
But Shaheen Afridi broke the tensions between the two sides and made a beautiful gesture by gifting Jasprit Bumrah and wishing him well with regards to Bumrah’s new spell with parenthood.

Many fans commented on the post appreciating the gesture made by Shaheen.
Despite his kindness off the field, Shaheen will remain very much a threat on the field as India will be wary of his abilities with the ball.
Shaheen had managed to clean up the Indian star duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the group stage fixture. But the match was eventually washed out due to rain, much to the disappointment of the fans.
The second match between India vs Pakistan started off with a bang as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill managed to rack up half-centuries each and managed to bring it in quick time as well. However, just like the previous encounter, the match was yet again halted due to rain and play was called off for the day.
But due to the reserve day assigned by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the match is set to continue where it was left off tomorrow.
Hopefully, the fans will not have to endure much rain and will be able to see a complete match which will prove to be an entertaining one for sure.
