In a picture posted on ‘X’ by a user named @neelangana, one can spot a moviegoer seated ahead of the user, with their laptop open. Hold on, what’s happening? Someone working at the movies? Such an occurrence could only be witnessed in Bengaluru, a city that never seems to hit the pause button on work.

However, this isn’t the first instance of Bengalureans having to choose between work and entertainment in cinema halls. Earlier, a video of a man working on his laptop inside a theatre went viral. The clip began with an advertisement playing on the theatre screen before panning to a man in the darkened hall. His seat was illuminated by the screen light of his laptop, and it seemed he intended to tackle his work while simultaneously enjoying a movie. The caption of the viral video aptly read, “Just when you think you have seen everything, Bengaluru has got something new."
But, working in theatres is not the only unusual place where Bengalureans love to stay productive. They also have a knack for immersing themselves in work even amidst the city’s notorious traffic.
