Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker recently made headlines when he had to abruptly leave the band’s tour in Europe to attend an urgent family emergency. Photos of him and Kourtney Kardashian, at a hospital quickly circulated on the internet, sparking speculation about the situation. While the couple initially refrained from talking about the details of the emergency, now, Travis and Kourtney confirmed that the reality star had undergone critical surgery to protect their unborn child’s life. Kourtney shared the news and revealed she had a fetal surgery on her Instagram.
She wrote, “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this. As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.”
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy,” Kourtney Kardashian added.

Travis Barker took to Twitter to express his relief and gratitude for the successful emergency surgery that saved his baby’s life. He shared that he had flown home for this life-threatening situation and was thankful that it went well. In his post, he also thanked everyone for all the support he had received during this challenging time and confirmed that the tour would resume on Friday.

Earlier, Travis Barker’s band, Blink 182 officially announced the postponement of their tour through an Instagram story. They cited an urgent family matter as the reason for Travis’s return to the United States, due to which their shows in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin, were postponed. The band promised to announce the rescheduled tour dates as soon as possible. On the other hand, a source close to Kourtney Kardashian confirmed that she was back home with her children and feeling better.
Barker is a father to three children, including a son named Landon and a daughter named Alabama, as well as a stepdaughter named Atiana from his previous marriage with Shanna Moakler. Meanwhile, Kourtney is also a mother to three children, sons Reign Aston and Mason Dash, and daughter Penelope Scotland, whom she shares with her ex-partner Scott Disick.
