Qualified candidates can submit their applications for the spot round through the official website of CEE at ceekerala.gov.in

The Commission for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has published the spot admission process for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) counselling sessions, covering B.Tech and B.Arch programs. The KEAM spot admission process began today, September 10 at 8 AM and will go on till 12 PM. Notably, the results for the spot allotment will be declared at 1 PM. Qualified candidates can submit their applications for the spot round through the official website of CEE at ceekerala.gov.in.

The official notice reads, “2023-24 spot admission to B.Tech, B.Arch courses in government and aided engineering colleges will be held on September 10 at GEC Thrissur. Students can register from 8 AM to 12 AM."

Candidates who have previously secured admission during earlier rounds of KEAM counselling for engineering and architecture, as well as those who have opted for spot admission, are required to submit the tuition fees. The tuition fee amounts to Rs 8,650 for general category candidates, while applicants from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will be charged Rs 1,000.

KEAM 2023 Spot Admission: Documents Required

Candidates who will be admitted through the rank list are required to present only their admission slip. Newly-admitted candidates must submit the following documents:

–– Plus 2 Mark Sheet

–– Data sheet issued by CEE

–– SSLC/10th certificate

–– Original certificate verifying the date of birth (SSLC, Birth Certificate, or Valid Indian Passport)

–– Original proof of nativity (SSLC, birth certificate, valid Indian passport, or any valid document as per KEAM Prospectus 2023)

–– Non-creamy layer certificate (if admitted category is SEBC or OEC)

–– EWS Certificate (if the admitted category is EWS)

–– Caste/Community Certificate (if the admitted category is SC/ST/EWS)

–– Transfer Certificate (Students without TC will not be permitted to join)

–– Conduct Certificate

–– Physical Fitness Certificate in the relevant format specified in Annexure XVII (b) of the Prospectus 2023

–– Migration Certificate (for boards other than HSC and VHSC)

–– Pass certificate for the qualifying examination (if issued)

–– Any other certificate of eligibility if the allotment is under any other quota like CC, PT, XS, SD, DK, RP, JW, SC, etc.

–– Receipt of the fee paid to CEE

Additionally, candidates must provide one set of self-attested copies of the following documents:

–– Datasheet for KEAM 2023

–– NATA Score Card (Architecture candidates only)

–– SSLC/10th Certificate

––  Certificate to prove date of birth (SSLC, birth certificate, or passport)

––  Mark list of the qualifying examination (higher secondary or equivalent)

–– Pass certificate for the qualifying examination (if issued)

–– EWS/Community/NCRL Certificate (as applicable)

Students seeking admission to programmes in engineering, architecture, ayurveda, siddha, unani, agriculture, forestry, MBBS, BDS, homoeo, cooperation & banking, climate change & environmental science, veterinary medicine, fisheries, B.Tech biotechnology, and pharmacy must pass the KEAM entrance exam.
