Former television actress Mrunal Thakur captured the hearts of the audience with the film Sita Ramam. According to the latest reports, the actress is busy with several high-profile projects and offers with the biggest stars.
Mrunal Thakur was loved by the audience in Sita Ramam wherein she starred opposite Dulquer Salmaan. It was released in 2022.
Mrunal is starring in Hi Nanna opposite Telugu actor Nani. As per reports, it is a pan-India film and is scheduled for a big release on December 21. A poster featuring Nani, Mrunal Thakur, and child star Kiara Khanna playing Nani’s daughter in the movie was released in July. The director of the film is Shouryuv.
Apart from that, she is also doing a film with Vijay Devarakonda, which has a running title of VD13. It is going to be directed by Parasuram. This will be Mrunal’s third film in Telugu. She is reportedly in talks to feature in a film with superstar Chiranjeevi. It will be directed by Vashishta, and produced by UV Productions.
Because of such high demand, the actress has reportedly increased her fee to Rs 2 crore compared to the Rs 85 lakh that she got for Sita Ramam.
Mrunal Thakur started her career with the television show Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan, opposite actor Mohit Sehgal in 2012. The show aired on the channel Star Plus. She was also seen in the Zee TV show Kumkum Bhagya, in 2014.
Her journey in the film industry began with the Marathi film Vitti Dandu, which came out in 2014. Her first film in Hindi was Love Sonia, which was released in 2018. She debuted in Bollywood with the film Super 30, in 2019. It was directed by Vikas Bahl and starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. Then in the same year, she did Batla House opposite John Abraham.
