- About the Founder – The Basantapur Education Society:
The Basantapur Education Society (BES), a brainchild of Dr. Nazrul Islam and implemented by some generous, progressive, dedicated & devoted dignitaries was established in the years 1995 and registered under:
- West Bengal Societies Registration Act.
- Income Tax Act and
- Foreign Contribution ( Regulation ) Act.
The main aims & objectives of the society is the overall development of the area in which it is situated by spreading education at all levels at a reasonably lower cost with all modern facilities, well equipped laboratory, library containing latest edition of books & journals, games & sports, quiz , cultural activities etc.
