There is hardly anyone who would refuse a scoop of ice cream. Out of the wide range of flavours available in the market, vanilla ice cream still remains the classic one. From the first slurp itself, the taste of pure milk and cream hits our tastebuds as we savour the delectable dessert. Many of us might be ardent vanilla ice cream lovers. But have you ever been curious to find out how they are made? It is a step-by-step process and requires quite a strenuous mixing strategy to bring out the flavour of the ingredients. Today, thanks to the internet, a video has surfaced that shows exactly how vanilla ice creams are made and honestly, it is wholesome.
The video of vanilla ice cream in the making was dropped on Instagram by a user named Harsh Sehgal on August 8. “Vanilla Ice Cream Factory Making,” read the caption. The video opens with a factory staff sliding crates filled with milk packets on the floor. In the first step, he pours huge quantities of sugar into a large, red bowl. Next, he cuts open a few packets of spray-dried skimmed milk powder and pours the content into the sugar-filled bowl. Mixing the blend well with his gloved hands, the factory worker then shifts his attention to the main ingredient - milk.
The man spills the sugar and milk powder mixture into a large steel tank and adds enough quantities of milk to it. After that, he takes a considerable amount of fresh cream and pours it into the tank. This time he uses an in-built blender fixated inside a small opening on the tank and mixes the entire content for the last time. The factory staff filters the mixture through a tap uses a strainer, presumably to purify the blend further, and pours it once again into a large steel tub. Adding a little bit of oil, he stirs the content well with a stick and uses an electric ice cream maker to pour the freshly made vanilla ice cream into a cup in a spiralling fashion.
The visual footage rightfully amused social media users in no time who reacted to it in the comment section. “Full marks for hygiene,” lauded one impressed individual. “Wow” noted another. Others dropped multiple red heart emojis, showing their love for ice creams.
