Becky Lynch missed her flight to India for the WWE Superstar Spectacle live event in Hyderabad, India slated for September 8th, owing to a ‘tear’ in her passport. Lynch, real name Rebecca Quinn, took micro-blogging site ’X’ (formerly known as Twitter) to confirm the news.
“I’m sorry to all the fans in Hyderabad, India. I was so excited to perform for you - but as there was a tiny tear in my passport l have not been allowed to board my flight. @qatarairwaysv,” Quinn posted and later confirmed in another post that she will be missing the event by reposting a Twitter user’s post.
“I’m so sorry I can’t make the show anymore thank you for all your support. We will rock again ❤️”

After her victory at WWE PLE Payback 2023 over Trish Stratus in a steel cage match, Lynch showed up in NXT to challenge the current NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton with the title match set for next week’s show.

Even though Lynch was scheduled for an appearance, it was still unclear whether she would have a match on the main card. Women’s World Championship Rhea Ripley is set to defend her title against Natalya this Friday.
Other matches advertised on the card is the tag team match between Indus Sher (Veer and Sanga) and Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. However, with Zayn and Owens losing their title to the Judgment Day earlier this week on RAW, their Superstar Spectacle match which was earlier advertised as the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship title match will now be a non-title bout.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be in action with John Cena to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. At the same time, Gunther, Imperium’s leader, is also scheduled for an appearance. Other WWE Superstars expected to be on the card are Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, and Shanky.
