Viral video shows content creator dressed as Zomato delivery executive revealing how he owns a Ducati bike and earns over Rs. 45,000 from the food delivery app.

Zomato delivery executives are no strangers to going viral on the internet for doing something out-of-the-box, either positive or negative. However, this time, a fictional delivery guy became the centre of social media buzz with an Instagram video. In the video, he humourously revealed how he was making more money than expected from Zomato and even claimed to own a Ducati bike. The comical clip soon went viral, prompting laughter and playful criticism from the audience.

The video, posted by Instagram user Raj Gothankar, features him donned in the iconic red Zomato delivery shirt. The, someone off-camera asks him about his profession, leading him to narrate the amusing tale of his employment at Zomato. When questioned about his luxurious Ducati bike, the content creator humourously reveals that he rakes in a monthly income of Rs. 45,000 from the food delivery giant!

How, you might wonder? In a somewhat unconventional math explanation, he claimed that Zomato pays him Rs. 200 per order (in contrast to the typical Rs. 30-40 per order) solely because he owns a Ducati. He elaborates that after factoring in a mere Rs. 50 for petrol, he pockets Rs. 150 per order. With 20 such orders in a day, he accumulates Rs. 1500, leading to a monthly total of Rs. 45,000.

However, eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out that the math in his script didn’t quite add up, as 150 multiplied by 20 would actually result in Rs. 3000 per day, translating to Rs. 90,000 per month. Nevertheless, the video was all in good fun, and it had Desis laughing heartily and engaging with it.

Even Ducati India’s official Instagram page joined in on the fun by responding with emojis in the comment section. The original creator playfully clarified, “It’s not my bike but I will buy a Ducati Monster in 1 to 1.5 years," and expressed his genuine love for the bike.

As the video continued to gain attention, one user humourously commented, “Mileage left the chat," while another added, “I thought only my math was bad."
