Shiv Thakare rang on his 34th birthday on Saturday. To mark his special day, the former Bigg Boss 16 contestant arranged a celebratory bas with close friends and family, which also included Nyrra Banerji, Karanvir Bohra, Arjit Taneja, Mr Faisu, Mandali member Sajid Khan and several others people connected to the industry. Shiv gave a glimpse of his birthday celebration through a carousel on Instagram.
Taking to his personal handle on Saturday, Shiv Thakare shared a bunch of pictures and videos featuring him striking poses with a gigantic birthday cake, at some swanky club. There were clips of Shiv Thakare, looking dapper in a black shirt and chequered suit as he cut his cake and enjoyed it with everyone who graced his intimate birthday party. He captioned the post, “Let the celebrations begin! 🎂✨."

Meanwhile, Shiv received an early birthday surprise from his fellow competitors and friends from Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. In a heartwarming gesture, Shiv, along with his Khatron Ke Khiladi co-contestants, Arjit Taneja, Anjum Fakih, and Anjali Anand, enjoyed a delightful dinner outing at a restaurant in Mumbai. Shiv shared some glimpses of this special get-together, and the group seemingly had a lot of fun teasing the actor. The entire group decided to start a trend with the hashtag Only Shiv Matters.
In the first video shared by Shiv Thakare, he tried to tease Anjali for being on her phone and not making any effort for his birthday. Anjali took the opportunity and started teasing him saying “Only Shiv Matters." Arjit and Anjum followed her lead and repeated the same lines. Anjali went on to tease Shiv by saying, “Hum ye bolne ke paise bhi nahi le rahe (We are not even taking money to say this)." Shiv Thakare taken aback by their teasing exclaimed, “Birthday hai mera, kuch to reham karo (Show some sympathy, its my birthday)."

Hosted by Rohit Shetty, this season of Khatron Ke Khiladi features an exhilarating jungle theme, pushing the limits of physical and mental endurance as only the fittest and bravest contestants survive the demanding challenges.
Speaking about participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 he had said, “It is a stunt-reality show, it will be a lot of fun doing this. It will be a new experience in life for me. It is going to be shot out of India and that too with Rohit Shetty, sir. I am excited about it." This season was filmed in Cape Town.
Shiv Thakare rose to prominence through reality shows. He was a contestant on MTV’s Roadies Rising and Bigg Boss Marathi 2. He became a household name after his appearance in Bigg Boss 16 last year. He finished as the first runner-up in the season.
