Bigg Boss 16 fame Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Archana Gautam have been dominating headlines recently owing to the conflict between the two. It started when Archana unfollowed Priyanka on social media after being close friends since their stint on the reality show. However, when asked about the conflict, Priyanka described Archana’s behaviour as ‘childish’ and ‘immature’ and refrained from commenting further on this. On the other hand, while Archana initially did not disclose the reason behind their fight, recently, she opened up about what transpired between the two celebrities. Archana Gautam disclosed the reason for unfollowing Priyanka and breaking connections with her during a Jio Cinema Live interview with Siddharth Kannan.
In the latest interview, when Archana was asked the reason behind unfollowing Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, she expressed, “One-sided friendships never work. Even Salman sir had mentioned that if there is no respect in the bond, then one shouldn’t continue it. So I felt there is no use in maintaining the friendship as I am giving my 100% and I am not getting 100% from her." She said that while on Bigg Boss, the duo used to fight, but those were easily resolved as she was mostly interested in politics, but now, since they are out of the Bigg Boss house, her focus has shifted to acting.
Archana wants to do TV shows, web series, and music videos. “So it feels that Priyanka is feeling that competition, due to which she has changed," mentioned Archana.

Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary recently celebrated her birthday with her friends as well. Archana revealed that the party was not quite memorable for her. Archana said that on her birthday, she made a lot of efforts and filled her Instagram feed with her pictures. She also went to her house to celebrate and said, “I give my 100% in friendship." Later, Priyanka also invited her to the party in Karjat. Initially, Archana denied it so as not to interfere with her friends, but she gave in when Priyanka insisted.
She shared, “I drove for 5 hours to Karjat and also picked Rajiv (Rajiv Adatia), his brother, and his friend in my car. When I reached there, for formality, she said Hi, and then when I went into the pool, she got out. She didn’t let me take a video for her birthday and ran away. She did it consciously, knowing that if I uploaded a story, she would have to repost it."
Further, Archana Gautam shared that he was quite upset when Priyanka did nothing to make her feel special on her birthday. She mentioned, “I just want a little love and I don’t need fame. I am more famous than her, and I have done more work like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Entertainment Ki Raat-Housefull, and in future too, I will work." Archana added that despite everything she had invited Priyanka to her party, but the latter didn’t turn up.
