Janhvi Kapoor is basking under the success of her recently released film Bawaal. The film was loved by fans a lot. Well, today she shared a series of photos along with an emotional note on her social handle as she completed the shoot of her next film titled Ulajh. Produced by Junglee Pictures, the film will be helmed by National award-winner Sudhanshu Saria.
In a long note, she mentioned how the story of the film “coincidently intertwined with things happening” in her life. “It’s a wrap..still having dreams of the world we tried to create. Each film has been a lesson, and it’s story deeply and coincidently intertwined with things happening in my life. And through Suhanas journey, and the journey of making this film- my biggest learning has been to allow yourself to love what you do, to identify if you’re doing it for the right reasons, to let go of baggage and external pressures and opinions. To get off a hamster wheel that leads to nowhere and let yourself walk to your own pace, as long as you believe in where you’re going,” the note read.

Sharing her excitement for the project, Janhvi Kapoor has expressed, “When I was approached with the script of Ulajh, it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that. Just as the name of the film suggests, my character and the story, have so many layers, emotions, and parameters, which are challenging and exciting at the same time. I am thrilled for the audience to see me in this new role envisioned by Sudhanshu, who has such a fresh approach towards dealing with this genre. I am also looking forward to work with such talented co-actors and a development studio like Junglee Pictures for the first time.”
Sources close to the production house shared that Ulajh follows the journey of a young IFS officer, belonging to a prominent family of patriots, who gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post.
